I love seeing photos and reading about how teachers of all kinds create their own versions of Montessori materials. Today I came across this post about a DIY version of the hundred board by What the Wild Things Read (via Carrots are Orange). It’s so simple, but yet completely captures the purpose and intent of the for-sale version.

Using a cardboard box and construction paper, this mom and her son created their hundred board together.
